Veritas in the driver’s seat with comms win
Nissan Canada has named Veritas Communications its AOR to support public relations efforts after a competitive bid process.
The shop will provide strategic support with communications planning, media relations, thought leadership and executive communications, as well as other communications needs, helping Nissan and Infiniti brands enhance their visibility and growth in Canada.
Veritas says it secured the relationship because of the agency’s extensive automotive experience, including direct experience in EV and clean energy, expertise in technology and
innovation, an ability to connect brands with consumer audiences, media and influencer relationships across sectors and industries, and an established record of creating brand narratives. Veritas also has a long history of success in Quebec, a key market for the automaker.
“Nissan and Infiniti are both in a growth phase in Canada, and it’s imperative that we sustain that momentum with a strategic partner that helps maximize visibility across communication
channels,” says Didier Marsaud, director of corporate communications for Nissan Canada.
The move came after Nissan Canada announced a leadership shakeup last week, with Canadian president Steve Milette relocating to the U.S. to take on a North American leadership role, and Trevor Longley, currently Nissan Canada’s vice president of sales operations, replacing him as Canadian president.
