Encore promotes senior leader

Ronan Powell has stepped into the role of senior director, event experience and design at event producer, Encore Canada, based in Mississauga.

Powell will be leading a team of creative directors, event designers and business development specialists across Canada, specializing in TV and broadcasting, graphics, animation, event design, décor, media, and digital services.

Prior to joining Encore, Powell was director of client development for Toronto marketing shop, Fifth Element.

Pigeon adds executive director

Emily Joannisse has joined Pigeon Brands as executive director of talent and operations. She joins the agency after working in the same role for more than four years with Bleublancrouge.

Joannisse was lead talent manager for Sid Lee, and spent nearly 11 years with the agency.

At Sid Lee, she supported a business unit of more than 400 employees and acted as lead contact for 30 managers and partners.

Riddoch adds a Riddoch

Lauren Riddoch is joining PR shop Riddoch Communications as a creative director. Riddoch held the same role at Huge, where she joined as an ACD of copy before becoming a CD.

Previously, Riddoch worked as a senior writer at DDB Chicago.

Salt XC adds ACD

Mathew Levinson is starting a new position as associate creative director at Salt XC, based in Toronto. He was previously a senior copywriter with Viral Nation, and prior to that role, he was a  copywriter for Mosaic North America.

Jackman adds ACD

Amy Tipper is back at Toronto consultancy, Jackman, this time as an associate creative director. Tipper recently worked as senior brand experience designer at M Moser Associates. Before joining M Moser in the summer of 2022, Tipper was a senior environmental designer with Jackman.
