Quebecor names top marketer for Vidéotron, Freedom Mobile and Fizz Mobile
Jean B. Péladeau has been named senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Quebecor’s Vidéotron, Freedom Mobile and Fizz Mobile.
Péladeau recently served as Quebecor’s vice-president of operational convergence, responsible for overseeing priority multi-sector strategies.
He has held positions in various areas of the business, including regulatory affairs at Quebecor’s head office, and marketing at Videotron, and at Quebecor Expertise Media. Péladeau was also general manager of data and advertising performance for Quebecor’s digital ad team.
The move was part of a management shake up that included François Lescadres becoming senior vice president and chief financial officer of Videotron and Freedom Mobile.
Subway makes senior promotion on its digital marketing team
Anna Carrington has been promoted to senior manager of digital marketing at Subway. She previously worked as manager for Canada digital marketing for the QSR.
Prior to joining the sandwich chain, Carrington was senior director of strategy and creative for London’s Inspired Thinking Group, tasked with account growth, managing the client relationship and delivery of large-scale creative and strategic projects across multiple channels. She worked on brands such as Samsung, and popular British coffee chain, Costa.
Calgary Economic Development staffs up
Stephenie Motyka has joined Calgary Economic Development as a marketing manager. Prior to this new role, she held marketing manager positions at real estate company Rohit Group, as well as at Shaw Communications and Homefield.
