M.A.C. appoints SVP of global marketing
M.A.C. Cosmetics has appointed Emily Bromfield as senior vice president of global marketing.
In her new role, Bromfield will help expand M.A.C’s global presence and appeal across established and emerging markets. Bromfield will lead efforts in storytelling, product innovation and immersive experiences. She will also serve as a global partner to all M.A.C regions and affiliates.
Bromfield will report directly to Aïda Moudachirou-Rébois, SVP and global general manager for M.A.C Cosmetics, and will oversee the Estée Lauder brand’s global marketing strategies across all categories and channels.
Recently, Bromfield was CMO and managing director at Dr. Barbara Sturm. Prior to that, she shaped Charlotte Tilbury’s go-to-market strategy, brand positioning and social media presence.
M.A.C Cosmetics was founded in Toronto 40 years ago and is sold in over 130 countries/territories worldwide.
BMG appoints EVP of global marketing
BMG has named Celine Joshua to the role of executive vice president of global marketing.
Based in Los Angeles and reporting to BMG CEO Thomas Coesfeld, Joshua will oversee the company’s marketing strategy and operations across its 20 offices worldwide, including Canada.
BMG represents recording artists such as Bruno Mars, Steven Tyler and Nickelback.
Joshua’s duties include divisional responsibility for the digital marketing, content, consumer insights and analytics, and marketing operations teams.
Joshua joins BMG from Universal Music Group, where she served as EVP of commercial innovation and artist strategy, working with artists such as Taylor Swift and The Weeknd.
She began her career in the music industry at Warner Music Group. She then joined Disney Music as head of digital before moving on to Sony Music Entertainment as senior VP, managing digital sales.
