The Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA) has named Andrea Hunt its new president and CEO.
Hunt joins the ACA on Sept. 9 after more than 25 years of experience in C-Suite roles at global blue-chip organizations including Kellogg’s, Kraft, Molson, Arterra and Mondelez. A strategy Marketer of the Year winner, Hunt has leadership experience across multiple industries, including food, beverage, healthcare, technology and ecommerce.
Hunt’s focus with the ACA will be to enhance member services, advocate for transparency and accountability, and drive initiatives that address the challenges facing today’s marketers, the ACA said in a press release.
“I am thrilled to be joining ACA at such an exciting inflection time in our industry,” Hunt said, adding that culture and technology are transforming marketing at an unprecedented pace. “We find ourselves in a moment of immense opportunity to reassert our position in driving value and impact.”
Moya Brown, chair of the ACA Board, said Hunt has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation by collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.
Previously, Hunt was the CCO of Carebook Technologies and the president of Think.
Former ACA president and CEO Ron Lund retired from the association earlier this year.
The ACA is a national, not-for-profit association that speaks on behalf of more than 300 companies and divisions.
