
Keurig Dr Pepper Canada names VP of cold beverages
Keurig Dr Pepper Canada has promoted Jean Gagnon (pictured above) from senior director to vice president of cold beverages.
Gagnon is responsible for managing relationships with Canadian bottlers and overseeing all ready-to-drink distribution partnerships and will continue to lead marketing, ecomm and omnichannel, revenue growth and partner relationships for the CPG’s cold beverage portfolio, which includes Snapple, Dr. Pepper and Atypique.
Before joining the company five years ago, Gagnon held corporate affairs and strategic marketing duties for Labatt.
Terry Fox Foundation promotes its senior marketer
Denise Dias is the new chief marketing and communications officer at The Terry Fox Foundation.
Dias is responsible for developing and overseeing all aspects of the nonprofit’s global brand, marketing, public relations and digital strategies. She was formerly VP of marketing and communications for the foundation.
Before joining the org, Dias was associate vice president of brand, strategy and communications for The ROM.
Hamilton Beach adds a senior marketer
Fernanda Inserra is starting a new position as senior marketing manager at Hamilton Beach Brands, which designs, markets and distributes home appliances.
Previously, Inserra was marketing manager for Groupe SEB’s Lagostina brand and kitchen electrics. Before joining SEB, Inserra was marketing manager of kitchen appliances and coffee for Philips.
Yamaha Motor Canada promotes two marketers
Cody McGhee has been promoted to team lead of product marketing at Yamaha. Previously, McGhee was the senior marketing associate for Yamaha’s marine and special markets division.
In his previous role, McGhee managed the launch of Yamaha marine products to Canadian markets. He also led strategic campaigns for B2B partners and planned, assisted, developed and executed digital and in-person events across Canada.
Additionally, Yamaha has promoted Matt Filion to the role of manager of brand marketing. Prior, Filion held the role of manager of brand development for five-and-a-half years.
BC Hydro adds a marketer
Maximillian Tso is BC Hydro’s new marketing advisor.
Tso is responsible for advancing the EV market in British Columbia and promoting BC Hydro’s infrastructure (electric vehicle charging network) and programs that encourage adoption. He will oversee the development and delivery of BC Hydro’s Electric Vehicles marketing communication plans, activities and activations.
Previously, Tso was marketing specialist for British Columbia insurer, ICBC, and a strategic comms business advisor for government body, Transport for Greater Manchester.
