Marketers on the Move: Molson Coors marketer takes on Granville Island duties

Molson Coors names a Granville Island marketer

Carlie Lorentz is taking on the marketing manager role at Granville Island Brewing.

Lorentz was most recently marketing manager for Molson and helped launch Simply Spiked into Canada. In that role, she commercialized all 2023 Molson Coors’ RTD Innovations to market in Canada, including Vizzy Mimosa, Topo Chico Hard Seltzer Margarita and Coors Seltzer Slushie Pack. Lorentz also spearheaded a new digital customer selling platform to support the company’s 2023 innovations.

She joined Molson Coors in 2021 as an assistant marketing manager, spearheading Old Style Pilsner’s first ever consumer-centered philanthropy program and supporting the Carling Lager redesign.

WD-40 promotes a top marketer

Sheree Yoon has been promoted to marketing director Canada for lubricant and rust-removal brand WD-40, having previously held the brand and digital marketing manager role. Yoon is a former brand manager with vacuum and carpet cleaner Bissell.

Previously, she was a brand and product marketing manager with publishing imprint Harlequin.

Couche-Tard makes a shopper marketing promotion

Cynthia Moscato has been promoted to senior brand and point of purchase manager, Canada at Couche-Tard and Circle K.

She is most recently the C-Channel brand’s lead marketer for Eastern Canada. Prior, she led Quebec marketing, based out of Laval.

Canada Goose veteran returns home to Ireland

Michelle Murray is leaving her role as Canada Goose’s senior director of customer strategy and CRM. She is joining White Claw at Mark Anthony Brands International in Dublin as its global customer relationship manager.

Murray joined Toronto-based Canada Goose from Shomi in 2016 as a digital marketing manager, taking on increasingly senior marketing and CRM roles.

Altitude Sports bolsters its marketing team

Laurie Brochu has been named manager of ecommerce marketing at Montreal-based retailer, Altitude Sports. Prior, Brochu was senior ecomm advisor and sustainability lead for retail and apparel company Smartwool.

As the brand’s sports marketing specialist, she planned, led and executed the Canadian go-to-market strategy for Smartwool.

Kenvue adds a brand manager

Ashley Ascano is starting a new position as senior associate brand manager for smoking cessation brands Nicorette and Nicoderm at Kenvue.

She is a former senior marketing manager with geological mapping company Rockmass Technologies.
