ChangeMakers makes changes
ChangeMakers – an indie marketing, reputation management and social impact firm – has appointed Hayley Ballinger (pictured above) as senior vice president and client partner.
Ballinger served as the director of marketing at Pizza Pizza-owned regional chain, Pizza 73. Her expertise spans market research, product development and brand management. She played a key role in launching campaigns and product innovations during her time with TacoTime Canada and Big Rock Brewery.
This month, ChangeMakers (formerly Believeco:Partners) also promoted Matthew May to vice president and creative director.
Hard Work Club names VP, managing director
Toronto-based independent advertising and design agency Hard Work Club has appointed Cass Farry as VP, managing director. In this new role, Farry will focus on elevating the agency’s operational and creative standards.

SDI names new VP of client service
Zach Wright has been promoted into a new role of vice president of client service at SDI Marketing.
He is a former executive producer with Midnight Circus – SDI’s rebranded XM offering – and was group account director with Fuse Create.
In October, SDI, which is best known for sports marketing, experiential activations and retail solutions, named executive vice president Terri Truscello to CEO.
Mosaic veteran joins Draftline YYZ
Aaron Rabinovits is starting a new position as senior manager of accounts at Draftline YYZ, Labatt Breweries of Canada’s in-house agency that creates content for social and digital platforms across its full portfolio.
Rabinovits was most recently director of digital experience with Mosaic, and is a four-year-plus veteran of the agency.
Critical Mass promotes an ACD
Tyler Wong has been promoted to associate creative director at Calgary’s Critical Mass.
He previously served as senior art director for the agency, and his campaign work includes clients such as Nike, Google, Mars Wrigley, BMW and Peloton.
Wong joined Critical Mass in 2017 as a design intern, before being promoted in 2018 to designer.
