John St. wins Entain business
John St. has snagged Entain Operations’ AOR business following an eight-agency competitive pitch process.
Entain Operations is a sports betting and gaming groups, working with the Canadian side of the business on the Sports Interaction and Party Casino brands.
The new partnership will leverage John St.’s experience in creative storytelling, digital marketing and branding to elevate Entain’s marketing efforts. This collaboration will focus on delivering highly targeted advertising initiatives designed to engage audiences, boost brand awareness and drive measurable growth across multiple platforms.
The first creative work of the partnership is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2025 focusing on building brand awareness.
WeCook picks Chimera
Ready-to-eat meal delivery service WeCook has appointed Chimera Collective as its new PR agency of record.
Chimera will be responsible for “comprehensive” communications support, with a strategic focus on expanding WeCook’s footprint in Ontario, while continuing to nurture the brand’s strong presence in Quebec.
Chimera Collective’s client roster includes L’Oréal Canada, Amazon, Reformation and Tinder.
Langton lands PR remit for Cloré Beauty Supply
Langton PR is the new public relations agency of record for Cloré Beauty Supply, providing media relations, branding and influencer support.
Founded in 2012, Cloré Beauty Supply offers a range of hair extensions, skincare products, and beauty accessories and has 10 brick-and-mortar locations in Canada.
Brief wins ICEE rebrand
Brief is working with the Indigenous Children Eye Examination (ICEE) on its rebrand.
ICEE’s vision is to develop a national outreach program for delivering sustainable high-quality eye care to all Indigenous (First Nations, Métis and Inuit) children across Canada.
Elma Forić, Brief’s co-founder and creative director, tells strategy the shop is developing fresh identity options and exploring creative ways to bring the brand’s mission to life.
“Our aim is to create a compelling new look and feel that reflects the program’s vital work and its bright future,” Forić says.
Hospitality North is providing communication support for Toronto’s The Distillery Historic District, focusing on the tourist attraction’s restaurants. Since this fall, it has been working with eateries such as El Catrin, Cluny Bistro, Pure Spirits, Madrina, Jardin and District Pizza.
Hospitality North has previously worked with a client roster that includes Craig’s Cookies, Wahlburgers Canada and The SoHo Hotel Toronto.
