Which agencies captured Canada’s 48 Epica medals?

The 2024 Epica Award’s show doesn’t go live for another two days, but that’s not stopping the organizer from revealing the winners in advance.

Canada captured six Gold, 14 Silver and 28 Bronze medals – given by a global jury of journalists – for a total of 48 awards. At the top of that list was Rethink. The indie firm once again claimed the most awards in a single show, 13 in all, for clients Coors Light, Heinz Ketchup, UberEats and Molson. Rethink’s winning campaigns include “Coors Lights Out,” “Can’t Unsee it,” “See My Name,” “Heinz Ketchup & Seemingly Ranch,” “Horror Codes” and “Smack For Heinz.”

Tied for second place was Dentsu Creative and Zulu Alpha Kilo, having seized six Epica medals each. The former agency snagged three Silver and three Bronze for work that was created for Tentree, Subway and Just Eat. Meanwhile, the latter picked up a Gold for Street Lab and five more Bronze for clients such as Campbell’s, Gas Leaks, Environmental Leadership Canada.

Other Canadian firms on the list included LG2 (one Gold), Publicis (one Silver, four Bronze), Courage (one Silver, three Bronze), Leo Burnett (one Silver, three Bronze), Angry Butterfly (one Silver), DonerNorth (one Silver), McCann (one Silver), FCB (two Bronze), King Ursa (one Bronze), No Fixed Address (one Bronze), Sid Lee (one Bronze) and The Local Collective (one Silver).

The winners, and the Grand Prix Winners, will be recognized and officially awarded by Epica on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 1 p.m. (EST) via YouTube (below).
