Pound & Grain pounds the pavement in charm-ing custom Crocs
This year Pound & Grain wanted to walk in its clients’ shoes.
The agency stepped up (literally) to bring clients something stylish, personal and guaranteed to make room for all 10 toes.
The journey started with a fun and cryptic webpage sent to our clients where the shop asked a series of light-hearted questions to help it learn more about their personal tastes and to identify their shoe size.
Using a 3D printer, the agency crafted unique Jibbitz charms that reflected each client’s tastes and style. From there, Pound & Grain “elves” assembled the custom Crocs, pairing the shoes with personalized packaging in a sleek, branded shoebox.
Trigger offers an eponymous warning (in game form)
This year boutique Calgary agency Trigger veered “off-script” and brought the spirit of the season to life with its Trigger Warning card game.
While the Canada Post strike prevented physical cards getting out to clients, the shop is offering what it calls the next best thing: an online game and mobile version.
Designed to get those awkward family conversations out of the way before desert arrives, Trigger Warning is a no-holds barred invitation to resolve conflict with the flip of a card.
Pickleball is tennis for dumb-dumbs? Taylor Swift is overrated? Bicker, argue and debate your way to victory.
Lifelong Crush turns to verse
The agency has composed a poem and put it on a sweater (see, below). Lifelong Crush also donated to the The Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund and Scarborough Health Network Foundation and is urging others to do so as well.
Skylar Media Group gets personal with AI
AI might not “get it” quite yet.
However, Skylar Media Group says it gets along swimmingly with artificial intelligence.
As part of its holiday series, one of its designers had a chat with AI about seasonal vibes, presents and cards.
