Meridian appoints director of brand and growth

Ghazal Taheri is starting a new position at Meridian Credit Union as the director of brand and growth, leading a team to grow the financial institution’s member base, build its brand and create strategies.

Most recently, Taheri was director of brand and acquisition, leading a team that shaped the entire marketing funnel, from awareness to acquisition, to attract and onboard new customers across B2B and B2C.

Prior to joining the credit union, she was Shopify’s marketing program lead and senior marketing program manager.

PwC Canada promotes senior marketer

Leeanne Mezzatesta is starting a new position as senior manager of brand strategy at PwC Canada.

In the role, Mezzatesta oversees national brand strategy for the professional services firm. Previously, Mezzatesta was PwC’s senior manager of regional marketing.

Before joining PwC in the fall of 2023, she was head of marketing for credit reporting, fraud and analytics solutions provider, TransUnion.

Henkel makes a brand promotion

Sara Saloojee is starting a new position as senior manager of brand strategy and Canada Hair Professional at Henkel.

Previously, Saloojee served as marketing manager for Henkel, as marketing team lead for hair care products, Joico, Zotos Professional, Authentic Beauty Concept and STMNT Grooming Goods.

Before joining Henkel, she served as brand manager for salty snacks at Conagra. She also held shopper marketing and assistant shopper marketing roles with the CPG.
