Conagra appoints senior brand manager

Ana Luiza Rangel is starting a new position as senior brand manager of PF Chang’s and innovation at Conagra Brands Canada.

Most recently, she was the CPG’s senior brand manager and head of frozen innovation. In that role, she developed the innovation pipeline for the Frozen portfolio, including Gardein, Healthy Choice and Pogo.

Rangel also spearheaded the launch of 24 new products in six months following Nestlé’s exit from the frozen meals market, driving rapid category expansion and strategic planning.

For two years, she served as senior brand manager of snacks and was recruited to revitalize the protein snacks portfolio, with full P&L responsibility and support from a dedicated trade marketing manager.

Prior, as a marketing manager with Kruger, Rangel developed and executed a multi-brand campaign for Scotties and managed title sponsorship of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts with Curling Canada.

She also held senior marketing roles with Robert Bosch, Hershey Canada and Smucker.

Conagra bolsters its snacks brand team

Veronika Popkova is starting a new role as senior brand manager of RTE Salty Snacks with Conagra Brands Canada.

Popkova will be leading the portfolio’s strategy and development across Orville, Boomchickapop and Poppycock and Crunch’n’Munch.

Popkova was recently senior brand development manager, snacks. In the Mississauga-based role, she lead the development of Snacks innovation.

Before joining Conagra in 2019, she was senior brand manager, Post Consumer Brands.

RBC promotes long-time marketer

Scott Dickson is starting a new position as senior manager of regional marketing and communications at RBC.

Dickson is a longtime RBC marketer, serving for nearly 10 years as the bank’s regional marketing manager for southwestern Ontario out of Burlington.
