Canopy appoints marketing director
Richard Navarro is starting a new position as marketing director at Canopy Growth Corporation.
Previously, Navarro served as Canopy’s senior manager of Canadian education, social media and interim provincial sales manager in Ontario and East. In a role prior, he was senior manager of Canadian education. He began his Canopy Growth career as an associate brand manager in 2018.
Canopy Growth is one of Canada’s largest cannabis companies, and is based in Smiths Falls, Ont.
Carfax names director of marketing strategy
Kristy Pinder is beginning a new position as director marketing strategy at Carfax Canada, the provider of vehicle history and evaluation reports. She was previously its director of brand marketing.
Pinder is a former marketing operations manager for Molson Coors, and was brand manager of consumer brands with Canadian Tire.
Before joining Carfax, Pinder was product marketing manager with StarTech.
Conagra Brands Canada promotes two senior marketers
Conagra is making moves on its marketing team.
Elisa Eskedjian (pictured left) is starting a new position as senior brand manager at Conagra Brands. Before joining the CPG as brand manager in 2022, Eskedjian was associate brand manager at McCain Foods and Catelli Foods.
Christianna Boers (pictured, right) is starting a new role as senior brand manager at Conagra Brands, working on a roster of brands that includes the Total Microwave Popcorn portfolio and Swiss Miss. She joined Conagra in 2018 as an assistant brand marketing manager, working on Snack Pack and Duncan Hines.
Conagra is an American-based CPG whose brands include Slim Jim and Orville Redenbacher.
Universal Music Canada makes two senior marketing promotion
Gabrielle Malek (left) and Mark O’Keefe (right) are starting new roles as senior marketing managers at Universal Music Canada.
Malek was most recently the company’s marketing manager and associate marketing manager. She began her career with the entertainment company in 2019 as a sponsorship coordinator.
O’Keeffe was most recently the entertainment company’s marketing manager and associate marketing manager. He joined Universal in 2019 as a label partnerships coordinator and operations.
