Mondelez Canada names new president

Mondelēz International has appointed Naniss Gadel-Rab as president of Mondelez Canada Inc., effective March 3. She is succeeding Karla Schlieper, who will be leaving the organization in early March after starting in 2022.

Gadel-Rab led the foods portfolio of Unilever Canada and served as the CPG’s general manager of nutrition, VP of sales and strategy and trade marketing director, as well as go-to market director of retail and OOH. Her career at Unilever spans approximately two decades.

“Her passion for people and culture, paired with strong business acumen makes Naniss the right person to lead the Canada business in its next phase to deliver our strategic priorities on our path to Vision 2030,” said Gustavo Valle, executive vice president and president of North America for Mondelēz International.

Mondelez Canada is the manufacturer of Oreo and Ritz Crackers.

Moneris names Mia Huntington as its CSMO

Commerce company Moneris Solutions has appointed Mia Huntington as its chief sales and marketing officer (CSMO).

In this role, Huntington will lead the company’s sales and marketing organization and strategy, with a focus on business growth.

Huntington is a payments industry veteran with experience leading product, sales, partnership and marketing teams at a regional and country level. Prior to joining Moneris, she was the executive vice president and point-of-sale lending at Elavon, focused on developing commercial models and delivering compelling customer offerings, including buy now, pay later solutions.
