ChangeMakers appoints Chrystiane Mallaley
ChangeMakers – indie marketing, reputation management and social impact firm – has appointed Chrystiane Mallaley as senior vice president of engagement.
Based in Ottawa, Mallaley brings more than 20 years of experience working with governments, communities, non-profits and the private sector across Canada.
Mallaley will lead ChangeMakers’ engagement practice within social impact consulting, providing strategic counsel across communications and engagement initiatives.
Prior to joining ChangeMakers, Mallaley led the public participation practice at Hill & Knowlton, advising on consultation and engagement initiatives nationally.
She has held past roles with National Public Relations, the Government of New Brunswick, Halifax Regional Municipality and Sobeys.
Zulfikar Fahd joins Weber Shandwick Canada
Zulfikar Fahd is stepping into a new role as director of client experience at Weber Shandwick Canada.
Fahd’s duties will include leading consumer public relations for Air Canada and Mars (M&Ms, Snickers, Twix, Maltesers, Whiskas and Pedigree).
Previously, Fahd was the owner of Java Bali Kitchen. Agency-side, he was senior account manager for Zeno Group, where he managed the shop’s largest account, Canadian Turkey.
For three-and-a-half years, Fahd was PR account supervisor at BlueSky Communications, where he supervised multiple lines of business of RBC.
Bensimon Byrne ACD joins ZAK
Ana Segurajauregui Sanchez is starting a new position as creative director at Zulu Alpha Kilo.
A more than six-year veteran of Bensimon Byrne, she was recently the shop’s associate creative director. Previously, as senior art director at J Walter Thompson, she worked with clients like Tim Hortons, Air Canada, Toronto Tourism, Dempster’s, HSBC and Mazda.
Prior, she handled brand work for Volkswagen and Mars as senior art director with DDB.
FCB Canada adds an ACD
London Choi has joined FCB Canada as associate creative director.
For almost two-and-a-half years, Choi was senior copywriter with Leo Burnett. Previously, he held copywriter duties with Rethink and BBDO Toronto.
Choi’s portfolio includes the Heinz Hot Dog Pact, GMC’s Mudern Art and the Snickers Hater Bar.
