Sid Lee names Marie-Lise Campeau as global CEO

Sid Lee on Friday announced the appointment of Marie-Lise Campeau as its new global chief executive officer.

Campeau will oversee all global business, which is served by Sid Lee’s group of entities across North America and Europe in partnership with parent company Hakuhodo DY’s APAC presence.

Campeau has been global chief operating officer for Sid Lee since October 2024 and served previously as president of Ogilvy Canada. Prior to Ogily, Campeau spent nearly three years at Sid Lee, rising to executive vice president of business operations, making the most recent move somewhat of a homecoming.

“I’m thrilled to lead Sid Lee into the future and build on its legacy as a source of strategic and creative impact around the world,” Campeau said in a statement. “I am impressed beyond measure by the talent across Sid Lee and know that we will continue to bring together craft, tech, innovation and bespoke creative solutions to deliver success for our clients.”

Campeau replaces Patrick McDaniel, who served as interim CEO since October 2024. “We are so pleased to have Marie-Lise in this role,” McDaniel say. “She understands the Sid Lee DNA and is the perfect person to grow the organization globally.”

Additionally, Philippe Meunier, co-founder and executive creative chairman, is stepping away from his role at the company. Since co-founding Sid Lee 33 years ago, Meunier has guided the agency’s transformation from a Montreal-based creative boutique into a multidisciplinary global creative powerhouse, the agency says.
