Havas Creative Canada has named Alex Beland as its new creative director.
Beland joins the agency after a brief freelancing stint and previously worked at VML’s Taxi Montreal and Sid Lee. His previous campaign work includes clients like Couche-Tard, Volkswagen and Amnesty International.
Jack Latulippe, VP of creative at Havas Creative Canada, said in a press release that Beland’s “leadership is marked by a strong focus on relevance and cultural impact. His relentless drive for creative brilliance will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow and deliver outstanding work for our clients.”
In September 2024, Havas Creative Canada appointed Latulippe as vice-president of creative as part of a strategic restructuring of its Canadian operations. Before joining Havas, Latulippe served as partner and chief creative officer at No Fixed Address.
