Talk Shop rides with Hopp
New Canadian ride-hailing app Hopp has selected communications agency Talk Shop to be its public relations agency of record.
As part of the AOR mandate, Talk Shop will be supporting the strategy and execution of all media-relations efforts from Hopp’s launch in the GTA to its planned expansion across the country.
Talk Shop secured significant coverage across print, digital and broadcast-news platforms for Hopp’s official market launch on Feb. 11, according to a news release. The ride-sharing firm is backed by European mobility company, Bolt, which operates in more than 50 countries and 600 cities.
“Expanding into Canada is an exciting milestone for Hopp as we continue to grow,” said Sugandha (Suhani) Bhandari, regional communications manager at Bolt. “PR is more than just sending out a press release it’s about providing valuable insights, being the eyes and ears on the ground, and building strong relationships with media.”
