Cossette named Becca Lucas Lord as its new VP and managing director and Trent Thompson as group creative director on Tuesday afternoon.
The agency said in a news release that the pair will help guide Cossette’s moving forward with their combined strategic insights creative expertise.
“Becca and Trent’s appointments represent key milestones in Cossette’s evolution,” Cossette SVP and general manager Kathy McGuire said in the release. “Their diverse skill sets and forward-thinking approach will enable us to deliver outstanding work and position the agency for the next phase of growth.”
Lord brings a background in global marketing, digital transformation and creative leadership and played a role in producing key work for TD with “hyper-personalized customer experiences that deepen engagement and foster brand loyalty,” Cossette says. Lord was most recently self-employed as the president of Lucas Lord Consulting and also spent time as a vice-president and independent consultant at Wunderman Thompson from June 2022 to May 2023.

Thompson brings more than 20 years experience in creative leadership and has a resumé that includes work with TD. Thompson leaves behind the title of creative director at Oliver to return to Cossette, where he also worked as group creative director from from October 2015 to January 2017.
