Hershey Canada names senior director of marketing
Paloma Bentes is starting a new position as senior director, head of marketing Canada at Hershey Canada.
Prior, in her role as marketing director, chocolate and seasons, she was responsible for leading the Hershey Canada chocolate portfolio with brands such as Hershey’s, Reese, Oh Henry and premium brands such as Brookside, Lily’s and Bark Thins.
Before joining Hershey Canada, Bentes served as the marketing director of snacks at Campbell’s and filled the role of acting general manager for the CPG in the area of salty snacks and crackers. Bentes was responsible for top and bottom-line financial performance as well as delivery of share and innovation goals.
She also held the position of senior brand development manager of snacks innovation at Conagra.
Stephanie Murdoch to take lead on Tostitos portfolio at PepsiCo
Stephanie Murdoch is starting on in a marketing director position at PepsiCo Foods Canada where she will serve as lead on the Tostitos and dips, value, and positive choices portfolios.
Murdoch has held various marketing roles at PepsiCo, most recently as the CPG’s senior marketing manager and share builder of challenger brands and marketing.
She joined PepsiCo as an assistant brand manager in 2013.
Agency-side, Murdoch was manager of XM and digital activations at Mosaic North America, where she was responsible for the conceptualization, planning and delivery of large-scale events and experiential campaigns for clients such as Labatt, Diageo, Microsoft and Rogers.

Previously, Pal held a product marketing, lead professional services role at Square and served as senior brand manager for Tim Hortons at Restaurant Brands International in the coffee, soup and innovation categories.
For more than two years Pal also worked at General Mills in associated brand manager and brand manager capacities.
