Agency Moves: FCB Canada adds creative duo, plus changes at The Kitchen

FCB Canada announces pair of creative directors

After more than three years at Ogilvy Canada the marketing duo of Morgan Starr and Luke Woodard are joining FCB Canada as creative directors.

Starr’s campaign work includes Dove’s “Most Likely To,” JP Wiser’s “Official Whisky of the NHL,” and H&R Block’s “Life’s Certainties.” Prior to joining Ogilvy Canada as an assistant creative director in late 2021, Starr was an assistant creative director and copywriter with Camp Jefferson where she spent nearly five years.

Woodard, also from Ogilvy Canada, has worked on campaigns such as Metrolinx’s “Kids Ride Free,” Dove’s “Cost of Beauty,” and Walter Caesar’s “Caesar Lovers.” Woodard was also an assistant creative director at Ogilvy Canada and served prior as an assistant creative director at Camp Jefferson where he spent almost six years.

Engine Digital names creative director

Vancouver, Toronto and New York-based consultancy Engine Digital has named former Media Monks design director Miquel Pons as its creative director.

Pons, who was formerly design director at Jam3 (which later became Media Monks), is taking on the newly created CD position.

Pons has has collaborated with brands such as Meta, Reality Labs, Amazon, Samsung, Ray-Ban and Nordstrom.

The Kitchen North America brings in associate creative director

starting a new position as associate creative director at Kraft’s in-house shop, The Kitchen North America. Di Gangi was previously an assistant creative director at MRM where he was creative lead on the CIBC account. He also performed assistant creative director duties for Performance Art, Forsman & Bodenfors and Cossette.

He has worked on key campaigns for OPG, WWF, Lyft and TD Bank throughout his career.

Loblaw Agency hires former Hudson’s Bay senior art director

Andrea Zadro is starting a new role as associate creative director at Loblaw Agency.

Zadro is a former senior art director with Hudson’s Bay and prior to that served as an associate creative director with Tim Hortons/Burger King where she oversaw a team of junior creatives and senior art directors while engaging in cross-functional collaboration on a daily basis with copywriters, client service representatives, project managers, and production designers.

Oliver brings an associate creative director on board

Barry Hann is starting a new role as associate creative director at Oliver Agency.

Hann was most recently senior art director with Toronto-based The&Partnership where he served more than eight years. He also had art director stints with Katalyst and Blue Hive (WPP).
