The 2025 Creative Report Card has officially landed.
As we have done since 1989, the strategy team poured through thousands of award credits from a range of regional, national and international shows to determine the kings and queens of the CRC.
At the heart of this year’s report card is the top-ranked agency Rethink, whose collaborative synergy with Kraft Heinz helped land the marketer in the #1 Brand spot. The shop’s impressive sweep of the CRC (a feat only achieved once before in 2022) includes #1 rankings for CCO Aaron Starkman, Planner Sean McDonald, CD Xavier Blais, AD Zachary Bautista, CW Geoff Baillie and Designer Mustaali Raj (who is freelance but worked on many of Rethink’s award-winning campaigns).
This year’s database goes beyond tracking trophies. It’s also about getting to the truth of what motivates and matters most to the individuals behind the lists.
So, for this year’s editorial coverage of the annual report – which kicks off Monday March 31 – strategy has worked to humanize the rankings by spotlighting the Top 5 individuals within each advertising discipline. We’re exploring their award-winning work, but also their creative thinking and vision for the future, in bite-sized column-style features in StrategyDaily.
