Sephora names Courage as its new agency partner

Sephora has tapped Courage as its Canadian creative agency partner.

Courage said Wednesday that its track record of work rooted in celebrating diversity among its team and clients inspired the shop to enter the competitive pitch process last fall.

Based in Toronto, Courage joins a collective of agencies working with Sephora to support the brand’s global success and growth.

“Sephora is a pioneer in promoting diversity and inclusion within the beauty industry, shifting the narrative towards self-celebration, and we’re honoured to support such an influential brand in realizing their full potential,” said Niki Sahni, president and partner at Courage.

Sahni tells strategy that creative work will be in-market later this year and that strategic planning is already underway to ensure the output lands at the right time with maximum impact. She says Courage is currently staffed for the new brand work with “many hands raised to support within the agency, and with tenacity and passion for the work ahead.”

According to Sephora Canada’s senior VP of marketing Allison Litzinger, the brand was drawn to Courage’s human-centric creative approach and its record of producing great work in its client-agency partnerships.

“Courage demonstrated such a compelling understanding of our brand, and where we can take it to authentically grow with Canadians,” Litzinger said.
