Warrior Sports adds K72 to its roster as AOR
Montreal-based K72 has been named agency of record for Warrior Sports, a brand known for manufacturing equipment and apparel with a specialty in hockey and lacrosse.
The mandate covers both North American and European markets with a goal to strengthen Warrior’s global presence and deepen its connection with sports communities across the globe.
K72 will set to build on Warrior’s strong cultural identity through bold creative and strategic campaigns, according to a news release. The agency will lead brand, advertising and content initiatives that amplify Warrior’s voice within the sports world and help the brand reach new audiences on the international stage.
K72 will fully handle the business in partnership with Cossette Digital for the digital services. The first creative is coming out in May.
The previous remit was held by The Hive.
Heads+Tails secures Campari brands, unveils studio
Heads+Tails (H+T) will be leading Campari’s consumer PR strategy year-round after being named the brand’s agency of record for PR and social in Canada. H+T will represent all of Campari’s marquee brands including subsidiaries Aperol, Forty Creek and Appleton.
The Campari brands join a roster of clients at H+T that includes Endy, Silver Jeans, Brother and Safehaven.
Heads+Tales has also announced the creation of Heads+Tales Studio. The 3,000-square-foot work and content loft space located in the Queen and Spadina area of downtown Toronto will play host to events and be open for booking to brands, content creators and photographers.
Vancouver Rise FC retains Venture Strategies as PR AOR
The Northern Super League’s Vancouver Rise FC have selected boutique firm Venture Strategies as the club’s public relations agency of record.
Venture Strategies will lead the professional women’s team’s strategic communications efforts to kick off the season, which begins April 16 at BC Place in Vancouver.
Sugo to handle PR duties for Pain Punch
Full-service Los Angeles and Toronto-based PR agency Sugo Communications has secured public relations agency of record duties for liquid anti-inflammatory supplement Pain Punch.
Pain Punch is a natural health product made by Toronto’s Black & Blue Foods, which bills the drink as a “clean and natural alternative to traditional pain medications.”
NKPR expands Morguard partnership
NKPR is expanding its partnership with Morguard to support the real estate corporation’s retail portfolio after initially signing on to provide communications for Bramalea City Centre. NKPR’s communications responsibilities for Morguard properties now also include Coquitlam Centre, St. Laurent Centre, Holt Renfrew Centre and more.
