Coasties awards to honour the best of the West
The West Coast Creative Society (WCCS) is launching the West Coast Creative Awards in June.
The Coasties are a showcase for the best and brightest creative work in advertising, design, digital and social categories coming out of B.C.’s Lower Mainland.
The jury includes Adam Rix (head of Not Wieden + Kennedy), Alexis Bronstorph (co-CCO at No Fixed Address), Alex Adati (ECD at LePub Sao Paulo) and Sabaa Quao (president at PlusCo Venture Studio).
“The Vancouver creative community is super tight knit,” says Eric Seymour, is the creative director and one of the founders of WCCS. “We punch way above our weight when it comes to ideas, execution and craft. But sometimes our work doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.”
The WCCS says its mission is to build a connected creative community in Vancouver that inspires talent and propels local creative work to the global stage.
The inaugural West Coast Creative Awards will be held on June 12 at the Hollywood Theatre in Vancouver. Entries are now open.
