Dentsu Creative Canada names Ari Elkouby as its CCO

Ari Elkouby has been named the new CCO of Dentsu Creative Canada.

Elkouby brings more than two decades of experience to the role after leading award-winning campaigns and guiding creative teams as a CCO at both VML Canada and Wunderman Thompson. He was VP and ECD at Wunderman Thompson prior.

Dentsu Creative Canada’s former president and CCO Jordan Doucette  stepped down to take the CCO position with McCann Worldgroup Canada in November.

He has also earned plaudits from the Cannes Lions, the Webby Awards, The One Show, the Clio Awards and Fast Company’s Innovation by Design list.

“His expertise will not only elevate creative excellence to further drive transformative creativity within Dentsu Creative but will also fuel creativity across all our brands including Carat, (integrated agency network) Dentsu X, iProspect, ICUC, Tag and Merkle,” said Patrick Hounsell, CEO of Dentsu Canada. “His omni-channel thinking, integration of technology and storytelling aligns perfectly with our approach to how we innovate to create value for our clients.”
