Marketer Moves: Kraft Heinz names Brian Neumann head of brand and creativity

Brian Neumann moves into new role at Kraft Heinz

is taking on an expanded role at Kraft Heinz Canada as the company’s new head of brand and creativity.

Neumann was most recently Kraft Heinz’s head of brand communications and, prior to that, director of North American brand communications for Easy Meals Made Better.

He joined Kraft Heinz in 2017 as brand manager for condiments and sauces before eventually becoming the company’s associate director of meals, beverages, desserts and infants.

After a tenure from October 2021 to summer 2023 as the chief marketing officer for plant-based energy drink and seltzer brand Yerbaé, he rejoined Kraft Heinz.

Vessi brings in a new CMO

Vancouver footwear brand Vessi has appointed Lorrin Pascoe as its new CMO.

A news release from Vessi said Pascoe will aid in the brand’s mission to scale globally and deepen its market position as a category leader in waterproof footwear.

Prior to joining Vessi, Pascoe held senior marketing roles at Koho, Sonos and Adidas.

In his new role, Pascoe will oversee Vessi’s marketing strategy, brand-storytelling, community-engagement and digital-marketing efforts.

Originally a digital-exclusive DTC brand, Vessi is now making forays into the conventional-retail space.

Canada Goose hires global head of social

Nathan Chong is starting in a senior manager position as the global head of social media at Canada Goose.

He was formerly the manager of global social and digital at Lululemon where he led in the areas of global and North American social-campaign strategy, content development, paid media, collaboration between internal teams and reputation management.

Prior, at TD Bank, Chong served as manager of enterprise social media and influencer marketing.
