Larouche finalizes deal to acquire Triomphe

Larouche Branding and Communications has acquired Quebec City agency Triomphe.

The deal will give clients of Larouche and Triomphe expanded access to expertise in the creation and promotion of Quebec brands and support from a team that combines a wealth of strategic experience and creative talent, according to a new release.

Larouche strengthens its offering with the addition of Triomphe’s list of clients that includes GardaWorld, Qualinet, Distribution STOX and Proleasing. Larouche currently collaborates with clients such as Les Coops de l’information, Nova Bus, Groupe Savoie, Latitude90 and Facturation.net.

“The acquisition of Triomphe aligns perfectly with our vision of evolution and excellence. We are strengthening our team with recognized talents and expanding our service offering,” Larouche president Jean-François Larouche said.

Triomphe founder Marc Robichaud will continue to support clients as a senior adviser at Larouche.

SGS & Co and SGK unite as new entity Propelis

SGS & Co. and SGK have finalized a merger to become Propelis, a new entity in the creative, packaging, print and branded space.

Propelis now boasts 10,000 employees in 30-plus countries and nearly $1 billion in annual sales from a client base of more than 2,000 leading companies.

Clients can now expect attentive local service in more markets through a global delivery platform and a larger, more diverse network of creative, production and technological expertise, according to a news release.

In 2021, SGK worked with SunRype on recyclable, bendable paper straws and supported packaging for a Wendy’s and Pringles collaboration. In 2023, SGS supported packaging for Mars Food’s Ben’s Original ready-to-heat medley items and also worked on packaging for a 2022 Laker Lager and Piller’s meat-stick promotion.
