Scene+ and Recipe Unlimited announced on Wednesday that their longtime partnership will continue after coming to a three-year extension agreement.
The renewal will give Scene+ members continued access to earn and redeem points at the more than 700 restaurants that Recipe Unlimited operates and franchises nationwide.
“Scene+ is committed to developing partnerships that give the best quality and value to our members,” Candice Troupe, senior VP of marketing and partnerships at Scene+, said in a news release. “This renewal assures that Scene+ members will be earning and redeeming points while enjoying exceptional moments and meals for years to come.”
The partnership rewards members with one point for every $3 spent at Recipe Unlimited’s roster of restaurants, which includes the likes of Swiss Chalet, Bier Markt and Harvey’s.
Through a number of retail partnerships, Scene+ offers points redemptions for movies and entertainment, groceries, travel, retail goods, gift cards and other items.
“For the past decade, the partnership between Recipe Unlimited and Scene+ has demonstrated our joint commitment to rewarding our valued guests. I’m happy to share that we’re renewing this collaboration, ensuring we can continue working together to deliver exceptional dining experiences,” Recipe Unlimited CEO Frank Hennessey said in the release.
In June 2022, food-retail conglomerate Empire purchased a stake in Scene+ to become a co-owner alongside Scotiabank and Cineplex.
Scotiabank combined its entertainment-focused Scene loyalty program, established in 2007, with the more traditional Scotia Rewards offering to create Scene+ in December 2021.
