BDC banks on Cossette with AOR renewal
After a public request-for-proposal process, the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) has selected Cossette as its agency of record in charge of brand strategy and advertising and media services.
Cossette, which previously held the mandate, tells strategy that taking on management of BDC’s performance-driven digital media production will be added to the new remit. Cossette Media had already handling media services, while Hearts & Science had previously handled performance media.
Cossette will act as a strategic partner in developing and rolling out impactful campaigns for BDC across the country with the first work scheduled to land in September.
“It’s a true privilege to collaborate with an organization like BDC, which plays such a central role in Canada’s economic landscape and truly embodies the diversity and ambition of entrepreneurs across the country,” said Louis Duchesne, president at Cossette. “We take this mandate to heart and are proud to support BDC in achieving its business goals by bringing together our complementary expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and culture of innovation.”
Cossette said in a news release that it will leverage its interdisciplinary strengths, technology offerings and proprietary products to fulfill the scope of the mandate.
