The Palais was buzzing on the first morning of Cannes 2025. Industry people from around the world escaped the blistering hot morning only to face a different kind of heat inside, with the Silver and Bronze winners in six categories announced against a backdrop of tented installations dotting the beach, yachts and a cruise ship.
The winners announced Monday morning were for Pharma, Health & Wellness, Outdoor, Audio & Radio, Print & Publishing and Lions Health and United Nations Grand Prix for Good, with Canadian agencies earning five Lions: four Bronze and one Silver.
VML won Silver for Coca-Cola’s “Balikbayan Magic: Philippine Oriental Food Market” in Outdoor. Courage and Rethink each won a Bronze in the same category for Skyscanner’s “Trollboards” and Molson Coors’s “See My Name,” respectively.
Canada’s other two Bronze Lions were in Health & Wellness, with Klick Health picking up one of the awards for “The Trial (Film)” and FCB earning a win for the SickKids Foundation’s “The Count.”
