Canadian agencies hit big on Day 3, winning nine Lions across Media, Direct, Social & Influencer and PR categories.
Claiming those Silver and Bronze medals were Rethink, Ogilvy / PHD, Critical Mass, We Are Social and Weber Shandwick. Their achievements brought Canada’s total Lion tally to 22.
The only shortlist the Cannes Lions festival dropped on Wednesday was for the Sustainable Development Lions. In it, one piece of Canadian work was nominated in the Climate Change sub-category: “Wildfire Watchtowers” by Publicis Canada and Rogers. The winners of the Sustainable Development category will be revealed at an awards gala on Friday of this week.
