Bob Park announced on Monday that he is leaving GE Appliances Canada after more than a dozen years at the company.
Since November 2017, Park had been serving as GE Appliances Canada’s chief brand officer. In the role, Park oversaw brand strategy and marketing, e-commerce, D2C, field sales and training for GE, GE Profile, Monogram, Cafe, Haier, Hotpoint and Moffat appliances in Canada.
Park said in an email that he is grateful for his time at GE and expressed gratitude to the colleagues he’s worked with for the past 12 years.
“It’s a moment filled with mixed emotions, as I look back with deep appreciation for the experiences, relationships, and opportunities that made this journey so rewarding,” Park said.
After Park was named chief of brands at GE Appliances Canada, he went on to craft a digital-first strategy for the company.
During his time with the company, Park advocated for leading purposeful brand work and helped develop 2023’s “On the Line” campaign, which focused on the challenges that women’s soccer players face compared to their men’s counterparts.
Park also helped expand on GE Appliances Canada’s partnership with Toronto FC.
As general manager of Monogram Canada from January 2015 to November 2017, Park was tasked with the overall success of GE’s division of Monogram luxury appliances. He started at GE Appliances as a channel manager in January 2012. Prior to his time at GE, he was an electronics industry consultant with Deloitte.
Park says he will continue to be available for consulting and speaking engagements through Edison Strategy.
In June, Park weighed in on AI’s effect on the creative industry as a guest speaker at the Cannes Lions Changemakers series and in February was named 2025 Strategy Awards co-chair.
