Rethink appoints pair of creative directors
Nick Noh (above left) and creative partner Jordan Darnbrough (above right) have been promoted to creative director roles at Rethink Canada in Toronto.
Until the spring, Noh had been serving as in an associate creative director with the agency. He first joined Rethink as an art director in May 2018 and worked in the role until July 2021 when he moved FCB Canada to take an associate creative director position. He rejoined Rethink in February 2022 as an ACD.
Darnbrough has also been an ACD at Rethink for the past three years, dating back to February 2022. He initially joined Rethink as a copywriter in May 2018 before also taking an ACD role at FCB in July 2021. In February 2022, he returned to Rethink, where he had been working as an ACD before being named creative director earlier this month.
The pair have worked on campaigns such as “Coors Lights Out,” “The Wardrobe” for IKEA, and “Pumpkin Spice Mac & Cheese,” which earned a 2021 Strategy Agency of the Year Gold for Kraft Dinner.
Their creative has been recognized at national and international award shows and has garnered covered from major media platforms, such as CNN, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Drew Barrymore Show.
Monks hires an associate creative director
Ramón Charles is starting a new position as associate creative director (art and design), brand at Monks.
He is a former freelance creative director, motion designer and art director whose past clients include CBC, Nike, Volkswagen, Apple, Cadillac, Microsoft, Red Bull, Labatt, Hot Docs and the National Film Board.
Strategy named Charles the number one art director in Canada in 2021 and the number two designer in 2020.
