Agency Wins: Forsman & Bodenfors announces Victim Services Toronto remit

Victim Services Toronto teams with Forsman & Bodenfors Canada for multi-initiative project

Victim Services Toronto (VST) has selected Forsman & Bodenfors Canada to create a multi-initiative brand project to bring awareness to gender-based violence. Twenty6two will be handling media for the work.

Forsman & Bodenfors said in a news release that it gained VST’s attention through its work with Aura Freedom International and The Native Women’s Resource Centre of Toronto, which “reflected a deep understanding of the complex issues surrounding gender-based violence.”

The agency recently worked on Aura Freedom’s “Behind Closed Doors” campaign that launched at Doors Open Toronto in May with an OOH installation at Nathan Phillips Square.

In 2024, VST tapped Strategic Objectives as its public relations agency of record.

Siren named AOR of Bahamian DMO

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments and Aviation has appointed Siren Communications as its agency of record in Canada. With the strategic partnership, the destination marketing organization says it is looking to deepen its engagement with one of its fastest-growing international markets.

The ministry said in a news release that it is prioritizing year-round demand through targeted marketing initiatives and its refreshed global brand campaign, “The Bahamas: A Lifetime of Islands,” launched this spring.

Toronto-based Siren Communications has a long-standing relationship with Atlantis Paradise Island and The Ocean Club, both Bahamian properties.

Last fall, the shop secured the remit for the Los Cabos Tourism Board to lure Canadian vacationers to Mexico.
