Fuse Create named SVP of strategy Jon Crowley, pictured above, its newest partner as the indie creative agency announced a number of senior-level moves on Monday.
Crowley joined Fuse Create as SVP of strategy in April 2024 after more than four years at Diamond Marketing Group, where he finished up his tenure as VP of strategy. He previously worked in director of strategy roles at Cossette and Publicis, both based in Toronto.
Fuse Create has been expanding its partnership team in recent years after historically reserving the title for co-founders Garo Keresteci and Stephen Brown, according to a news release. Over the past five years, the agency has also given the title to Aleena Mazhar Kuzma, Steve Miller and Luke Moore.
Fuse said that the appointments display its commitment to develop its leadership group from within and provide pathways for career growth at the agency.
In additional news Monday, Fuse also promoted Rita Steinberg, above left, and Anthony Mayes, above right, to VP positions.
Steinberg will move on from her role as group media director to take on the title of VP of media. She joined Fuse in February 2021 as a digital media director.
And Mayes will take on the title of VP of production and operations after working as director of production at the firm since November 2021. He was hired by Fuse as director of XM production in April 2018.
“We’ve always said that Fuse Create is built by the people who choose to show up here every day. These promotions reflect that belief – that leadership isn’t about titles, it’s about impact,” Fuse CEO Stephen Brown said in a statement. “I’m incredibly proud of Jon, Rita and Anthony for how they show up, lead by example, and make this place better for all of us.”
In May, Jacquie Kostuk was promoted to group strategy director at Fuse after spending more than four years as director of creative strategy at the shop.
And in September, the agency announced five new clients to its roster: Gay Lea Foods, Fujifilm, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Grenade and Chartwell.
