Former Tux creative director joins Cossette in VP role
Louis Paquet has joined Cossette as VP of digital creation, based out of the agency’s Montreal office.
Prior, Paquet served as co-creative director with Tux, also based out of Montreal, from November 2020 till this July.
Before Tux, he held creative director roles at Locomotive and Phoenix.
Paquet’s portfolio includes work for C2 Montreal, Mana Yerba Mate, Afterglow and Escape Coffee.
Innocean Canada adds a new CD
John-Michael Mele is starting a new position as creative director at Innocean Canada.
Mele is a former senior creative director with SDI, where he led all XM and digital creative for the Rogers business, including programs and partnerships such as Rogers Hometown Hockey, National Bank Open, Toronto Blue Jays, Montreal Jazz Fest and more.
He started working at the shop as an associate creative director in the summer of 2017.
Mele also formerly served as art director and creative lead for Bond Brand Loyalty, where he handled Ford and MLSE XM business, and as an art director with Match.
Tank Worldwide CD bids adieu
Craig Redmond said in a recent LinkedIn post he will not be returning as a creative director at Tank Worldwide after an extended leave of absence.
Redmond joined the health and wellness agency in the fall of 2022, working out of Toronto.

Wasserman makes a promotion
Zack O’Toole is starting a new position as associate creative director of design at Wasserman, based in Toronto.
O’Toole was most recently the shop’s senior designer and art director for multiple campaigns and international tournaments.
He was responsible for streamlining design processes, managing junior designers and executing large-scale deliverables with RBC, Molson Coors, the Toronto Raptors, Air Canada and other more.
During his career in the U.K., O’Toole gained design experience working with English soccer club Chelsea and at Ogilvy, where he developed work for clients such as British Airways, Boots, Samsung, Barclays and the NFL.
McCann Montreal staffs up
Ambre Chekly and Gessica Marcus have been hired as associate creative directors at McCann Montreal, where they will lead work across accounts including L’Oréal Canada – with a focus on L’Oréal Paris Canada – Norwell and Club Med.
Originally from Paris and now based in Montreal, Ambre Chekly brings more than a decade of experience at top agencies such as LG2, Cossette and F&B.
Gessica Marcus joins from Cossette, where she spent seven years. Her portfolio spans agencies including Bensimon Byrne and Bleublancrouge, along with freelance stints at Cloudraker, FCB and Gaspard.
