
Mark Carpenter named president at Angry Butterfly
Angry Butterfly has appointed Mark Carpenter as the agency’s first-ever president.
Carpenter has developed experience working at top Canadian agencies, having served as president of No Fixed Address, EVP of integrated communication for North America at Citizen Relations and group digital director at BBDO, among others.
More recently, he was divisional president of delivery at Believeco:Partners, where he oversaw the agency’s creative, digital, paid media and social-media teams.
“[His] experiences are impressive, and after meeting him we could really see the incredible contribution he could make to our team at every level,” Brent Choi, partner and CEO at Angry Butterfly, said in a news release. “We have big ambitions and high expectations for what we deliver to our clients and Mark will be integral to taking on what’s next.”
Carpenter’s responsibilities will span across the agency and include close collaboration with the leadership team, according to Angry Butterfly.

Angry Butterfly recently supported campaign work for Halo Top and secured the AOR business for Middle Eastern-inspired QSR Tahini’s.

Leo hires creative director in Toronto
Dylan Wagman has taken on a creative director position at Leo Toronto.
Wagman joins the shop after an 11-month stay at The Hive, where he was also serving as a creative director. Previously, he held associate creative director titles at Mischief and No Fixed Address.
Wagman’s career includes work on brand campaigns for Pizza Hut, Tubi, SickKids Foundation Airbnb, Tinder and Little Caesars.

Vibrant client services director given expanded title
Antoine-Olivier Tetreault is taking on an expanded role as Vibrant Marketing’s director of operations and client service.
Tetrault has been serving as Vibrant’s director of client services since February 2022. He joined the XM shop in 2019 as a brand experience manager and also held the position of senior brand experience manager.
Prior to joining Vibrant, Tetrault was a marketing project manager for Bite Size Entertainment, where worked with clients such as Jack Daniel’s.
