Canadian Tire Corp (CTC) and Tim Hortons are collaborating on a new loyalty initiative.
Scheduled to launch later next year, the strategic collaboration will enable members of Triangle Rewards and Tims Rewards to link their accounts and unlock new benefits.
Canadian Tire Money will be earnable on eligible Tim Hortons purchases alongside other exclusive offers within the two programs, according to a news release.
“Our strategic partnerships are all about building our Triangle ecosystem to reward Canadians for their everyday activities, from shopping for essentials to now picking up their morning coffee,” Darryl Jenkins, EVP and chief development officer at CTC, said in the release.
Tim Hortons follows Petro-Canada, RBC Avion and WestJet as the latest brand to join the growing partnership sphere at Triangle Rewards, which already includes nearly 12 million members.
In August CTC president and CEO Greg Hicks outlined the corporation’s intent to continue expanding its loyalty program as part of its $2 billion transformative “True North” growth strategy.
Tims Rewards grants members access to contests and games including the Roll Up To Win, which relaunched with physical cups earlier this year, and the Tims NHL Hockey Challenge.
