McCann connects with LinkedIn
LinkedIn has selected McCann as its global agency of record.
The business-oriented social-media platform confirmed the partnership in an email, telling strategy that it is “always exploring new agency collaborations to help [LinkedIn] reach our members and customers in more creative and imaginative ways.”
AdWeek originally reported in May that LinkedIn would be conducting a closed review throughout the summer to select its lead creative agency.
Earlier in the year, McCann Toronto secured an AOR win with construction-equipment maker Bobcat.
Really Good People secures two AOR relationships
Hospitality companies Glowbal Group and Chaiiwala of London have both tapped Really Good People (RGP) for AOR duties.
RGP will oversee strategy and execution for Glowbal Group in Toronto as it expands its footprint with new restaurants Black+Blue Toronto and Riley’s Fish & Steak, which is slated to open early in 2026. RGP will be working in collaboration with Glowbal’s internal marketing teams and its Vancouver-based PR counterparts.
Glowbal Group currently operates 10 restaurant locations across Canada under eight concepts.
RGP’s AOR duties for Chaiiwala of London will span across Canada. The fast-casual franchise, known for its Indian street food, was founded in the U.K. in 2015 and has a footprint of 125 locations across five countries.
Chaiiwala currently operates 22 locations in Canada across Ontario, B.C. and Alberta. RGP will lead the brand’s national PR strategy, digital strategy and social-media management in collaboration with internal teams.
RGP also handles PR strategy and communications for clients including Japanese restaurant concept Hello Nori Group, the Toronto Cocktail Festival and Rémy Cointreau Canada.

Nata PR strikes deal with haircare brand
Quebec-based haircare brand Alcôve has been named as a new client for Nata Public Relations.
The agency will support Alcôve in rolling out its media and influencer projects across Canada.
“Welcoming Alcôve among our clients is a meaningful recognition of our expertise in public relations within the beauty and lifestyle sectors,” said Natalie Bibeau, president and founder of Nata PR. “We look forward to contributing to strengthening the brand’s awareness and supporting its growth.”
Alcôve was founded in Montreal in 2022.

Alpha PR lands agreement with Charlottetown Film Festival
The Charlottetown Film Festival has announced a new communications agreement with Alpha PR.
Based in Halifax and Toronto, Alpha PR will be responsible for developing national and local media relations strategies and building a media accreditation system for the festival.
The agency was recently named AOR for the Atlantic International Film Festival.
