Carlsberg Canada makes a senior marketing move

Catherine Witkowskyj is starting a new position as head of brand marketing for Carlsberg Canada.

Prior, Witkowskyj served as senior marketing manager for the brewery with a portfolio that includes Kronenbourg 1664, Holsten, Tuborg, Laker and more.

In August 2024, she supported the Canadian launch of Carlsberg’s Margaritaville LandShark beer.

Witkowskyj joined Carlsberg Canada in the fall of 2018 as a brand manager for its cider portfolio, which includes the Somersby line of beverages.

Agency-side, she previously held communications and design roles at Initiative New York.

RBI promotes from within at Burger King

Connie Liu is starting a new position as a senior analyst of marketing communications at Burger King Canada with Restaurant Brands International (RBI).

Liu started working at the QSR in March 2024 as an analyst of marketing communications.

Before RBI, she held a marketing co-ordinator of partnership marketing position at Bell Media from August 2022 to March 2024.

Scene+ adds former Edelman manager

Emily Xu has joined points program Scene+ as its manager of lifecycle marketing.

Prior to joining Scene+, Xu filled a number of roles during four-plus years at Edelman, most recently as a digital account manager during an eight-month stint that concluded this month.

In the role, she was responsible for day-to-day client management, strategy development, execution and project management of marketing initiatives. Her client work included TJX (HomeSense) and Unilever.

Bimbo Canada makes moves

Mila Neskovic is starting a new position as an assistant marketing manager of bread, private label and emerging brands at Bimbo Canada.

She was previously assistant brand manager for sweet baked goods at Bimbo. She joined the CPG as a financial analyst in 2022.
