Lululemon brings aboard longtime beer marketer

Ava (Gladman) Taylor is starting a new position as senior brand marketing manager at Lululemon, based in Vancouver.

Before joining the apparel company, Taylor was a senior marketing manager of the above premium brands portfolio for Molson Coors, where she spearheaded brand strategy and execution for Miller Lite, Blue Moon and Madrí Excepcional.

Prior, as Molson Coors’ senior marketing manager for Heineken, Taylor oversaw brand strategy for the Dutch family of brands, including the launch of Heineken Silver. She also led Heineken initiatives for partnerships with the likes of Surf Canada, UEFA Champions League and Formula One.

Taylor also led the launch of Coors Seltzer in Canada during her time as a marketing manager at the company.

CAA-Quebec appoints new SVP of retail

Ariane de Warren is CAA-Quebec’s new SVP of retail.

De Warren’s hire, made in conjunction with the appointment of François Blais as EVP, will help drive growth in the insurance division and support the evolution and modernization of CAA-Quebec’s mobility services, according to a news release.

From May 2019 to April 2023, de Warren served in a director of marketing role at SAQ as part of a 14-year career at Quebec’s liquor corporation, a former strategy Retail Innovator of the Year.

De Warren worked with agency partner Cossette to tout SAQ’s  offerings and boost engagement in the retailer’s Inspire loyalty program.

De Warren started at SAQ in 2012 in a head of operations marketing role and moved through a number of strategic marketing management roles. She became SAQ’s director of experience and sales in spring 2023, a title she kept until last month when she moved on to CAA.

Shipping service GLS appoints marketing director

is starting a new position as director of marketing for Canada and the U.S. for parcel services provider GLS operations.

Based out of Montreal, Yunger started her nine-year career at GLS as a sales co-ordinator in 2016, moving up the ranks through sales marketing management and marketing director positions.
