Agency Moves: New CD at Weber Shandwick, changes at Oyster Group, Zerotrillion

Weber Shandwick adds a CD

Linna Chang is starting a new position as creative director at Weber Shandwick, following a freelance CD stint handling work for Indigo and Visa.

Chang also recently managed CD duties with AntiSocial, working on a client roster that included Silver Jeans, Riot Games and Dr Oetker. Prior to that, Chang served with Bensimon Byrne for over 13 years, rising through the ranks to ACD, handling brand work for Audi, Red Hat, Scotiabank, Scene+, Rexall, Constellation Brands, Arterra Wines, President’s Choice and Joe Fresh.

CBC reporter joins Oyster Group

Oyster Group has welcomed investigative journalist Charlsie Agro from CBC.

Agro joins as a senior consultant, most recently completing 10 years as host and correspondent for CBC’s Marketplace.

At Oyster Group, a Toronto public affairs firm specializing in crisis communications, reputation management, corporate communications and government relations, the ex-journalist will help clients manage complex communication and public affairs issues.

Oyster also recently added Isha Chaudhuri from the Ford Government, where she served as chief spokesperson and senior communications advisor to Ontario’s Minister of Education and Minister of Energy and Mines Stephen Lecce.

Zerotrillion brings aboard ex-Proof consultant

Bora Caglayan has joined Zerotrillion’s Toronto team as a PR account supervisor.

Caglayan came on board late summer to lead the shop’s PR campaigns, support client work and help grow Zerotrillion’s integrated PR offering across North America.

Previously, he was a senior consultant with Proof Strategies and prior to that he worked for Veritas Communications and Doner Partners Network, with experience across national and global brands like TikTok, Purina, Campbell’s, LCBO and Microsoft.
