In Brief: Leo Burnett names a new managing director

Leo Burnett looks internally for a new managing director

Leo Burnett Canada is promoting industry veteran Natasha Dagenais to managing director.

The new role will give Dagenais increased responsibility to lead Leo Burnett’s rapidly growing business. She first joined the agency in 2003, and was most recently the agency’s SVP and head of account management.

“[Dagenais] has played a key role in leading growth on some of our biggest client relationships and has always been a champion for ideas that deliver human value,” says Ben Tarr, president, Leo Burnett Group Canada. More recently, she helped shape the vision for Leo Burnett’s repositioning to a creative consultancy here in Canada, and will continue to evolve this vision in her new role.

Dagenais’ experience spans across a wide range of marketing disciplines, clients and categories, from IKEA and Canadian Tire to Procter & Gamble, TD, and not-for-profit organizations including Raising the Roof. Beyond holding senior account roles during her time at Leo, Dagenais was responsible for leading the development and growth of Leo Burnett Design.
