Arterra Wines Canada promotes a senior marketer

Arterra Wines Canada is promoting Jordan Mascarenhas to marketing director – product, brand and growth. Mascarenhas formerly worked as the winery’s senior marketing manager of product, brand and growth – core brands, after beginning his career with Arterra as a brand manager of innovation in 2020.

He has worked on marketing campaigns for Arterra’s zero sugar offering, Bask.

Mascarenhas was also a five-year Tim Hortons vet, and has experience leading cross-functional teams of more than 30 employees, marketing agencies and direct reports.

While at Tim Hortons, he developed the marketing strategy and integrated communications plan for the NHL Hockey Card Program, and he was entrusted to develop a special edition of the “Roll Up The Rim” campaign in 2017 to celebrate Canada 150.

ZAK adds an ACD

Guilherme Maximiliano Oss Rech is starting a new position as associate creative director at Zulu Alpha Kilo.

The new ACD previously worked as creative director with the São Paulo-based digital shop, W3haus. In a 15-year career, he has worked with clients across various industries from TikTok and Facebook to Dove and Coke, creating campaigns, content and experiences.

TMU’s cyber centre gets a new marketing director

Anna Colagrossi is the new director of marketing and communications for Toronto Metropolitan University’s national centre for training, innovation and collaboration in cybersecurity, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst.

Colagrossi is a former senior marketing manager for BMO Financial Group’s loans and lines of credit, and previously worked as vice president of marketing for the DEI organization Mesh.

Northeastern U Toronto adds to its marketing capabilities

Melanie Pedersen is starting a new position as marketing manager, Toronto at Northeastern University.

Pederson is a former senior marketing manager with the publisher Simon & Schuster Canada. Her duties included developing and executing marketing strategies for key titles and authors including Stephen King. She was responsible for market positioning, consumer messaging, media planning and buying, and social media strategy for Canadian and select U.S. imprints.
