GM Canada names VP of sales, service and marketing

Shane Peever is rejoining GM Canada to serve as its vice president of sales, service and marketing, effective April 1.

Peever’s expertise spans 20 years in building customer relationships, strengthening brand reputation and bolstering engagement with Canadian dealers. Most recently, he worked as the head of sales for GM Energy where he built the brand’s sales team, dealer programs and direct and e-commerce sales channels from strategy through execution.

As managing director of Cadillac Canada, Peever led dealer network EV infrastructure readiness and was responsible for product and brand marketing, and sales operations.

Hub International promotes senior marketer

Caroline Clement is starting a new position as director of Canada field marketing at insurance broker, Hub International. Clement is formerly the insurer’s associate director of Canada field marketing and senior marketing and communications manager, Ontario and Atlantic Region.

Marriott Toronto names regional sales and marketing director

Julie Shorrock is starting a new position with Marriott Hotels as regional director of sales and marketing overseeing the Rogers Centre’s Toronto Marriott, and the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre.

Shorrock formerly worked as complex director of sales and marketing for Hilton Hotels & Resorts. Before joining Hilton in 2022, she was director of sales, groups and events, location based events for Cineplex.

Express Scripts adds marketing advisor

Natalie McConney is starting a new position as a marketing and communications advisor at health benefits manager, Express Scripts Canada. McConney formerly worked as communications advisor at FGF Brands, the parent company of Ace Bakery and Stonefire breads.
