Agency Moves: Pigeon bolsters its senior leadership group, Brand Momentum adds a CD

Pigeon names former BBR and BBDO creative to its executive team

Indie strategy, design and communications agency Pigeon has added to its senior leadership team.

Maryse Sauvé is joining Pigeon as its VP of brand strategy and communication. She will head a team in Montreal and Toronto working closely with VP of transformation and growth Stéphane Crevier.

Sauvé has more than 30 years of experience having worked in locales such as Montreal, Toronto and New York throughout her career.

Prior to launching her own consultancy, Sauvé held senior leadership roles at BleuBlancRouge (BBR),  BBDO and Cossette.

Sauvé recently worked on the award-winning “Gear Up” campaign for BMO, which received nearly 30 international accolades that included Bronze Lion, Clio and WARC awards.

Sauvé has participated in more than 150 conferences, panels and media interviews on topics ranging from marketing to consumer behaviour.

She has also served a guest lecturer at HEC Montreal and the Université de Sherbrooke and has sat on multiple marketing-award juries.

Brand Momentum appoints CD

Brand Momentum has appointed longtime Rhoddy Marketing Group marketer Jeff Blanchard as its new creative director.

In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of Brand Momentum’s creative strategy and design as the agency expands beyond experiential marketing to offer integrated solutions which will encompass digital and social media, shopper marketing and public relations.

Up until last month, Blanchard was a creative director at Rhoddy, where he has spent more than 15 years during two different stops at the marketing group throughout his career.

His brand work includes “Warm Wishes” for Tim Hortons, “Elevate” for BMO and a Dyson Canada pop-up event.

He also spent time at Vibrant Marketing and Us Communications during his career.
