2023 Creative Report Card

It’s Creative Report Card time and you know what that means: time to celebrate the best of the best in the industry.

Along with the stories they accompany in the 2023 Spring issue of strategy magazine, this year’s imagery and rankings paint a picture of those who weren’t afraid to think bigger, meet the moment and redefine what it means to be creative.

#1 Agency Rethink remains on top of its game, along with its leaders; namely, CCO Aaron Starkman, planner Sean McDonald, CD Mike Dubrick, AD Zachary Bautista and Copywriter Geoff Baillie.

We saw heavy hitter brands take the top 10 spots, with campaigns that got people talking, such as Kraft Heinz solving for the injustice that is bun-to-weiner packaging inequity.

And last, but certainly not least, Zulu Alpha Kilo’s Stephanie Yung took an approach to creativity that landed her in the top spot on this year’s list of designers.

As always, we crunched numbers from a range of regional, national and international award shows to determine the kings and queens of the CRC.
