Tanbir Grover and Ian Mackenzie to lead SIA jury

Leading the 2024 Shopper Innovation Awards jury are two industry execs with deep roots in shopper marketing and creative digital innovation. They are Tanbir Grover and Ian Mackenzie.

Grover is the chief marketing and digital officer at Pet Valu and Mackenzie is the CCO at Performance Art. The brand and agency leaders will meet with a group of marketing and advertising execs in the new year, to judge and evaluate the SIA cases before the winners are announced in the spring.

The Shopper Innovation + Activation Awards recognize innovative and collaborative achievements across shopper marketing, retail, brand activation and experiential. As in past years, the winners will be awarded at the Shopper Marketing Forum in early 2024.

The main areas that entries focus on include: Activation (innovative use of immersive experience to spur consumer action); Shopper marketing (forward-thinking programs that influence shoppers in new ways along the path to purchase); Retail innovation (efforts that engage shoppers in-store and beyond); and Creative commerce (innovative commerce programs, digital and offline, that enhance consumer brand experience and perception).

The regular deadline for entries is November 20, 2023.
